The last Fresh Boat party before moving to Wednesday nights, last Friday’s party was a gay man’s wet dream with The Boat packed full of sexy seamen. The theme for the party was navy sailor and the pink crowd certainly didn’t let us down as most people came dressed like a man-hungry Popeye. For those who didn’t come in costume, The Boat provided sailor caps so even those dressed like a landlubber could look like a salty sea dog. DJ Alvin was back on the decks pumping out the campiest tunes from the 80’s, in addition to a few show tunes, which got the crowd on the poles and on the dance floor. This Friday will be the last Fresh boat party before it raises anchor and sails to Wednesday nights in June. Since this will be the last time we’ll be dropping anchor on Friday nights, Gayographic and The Boat are teaming up to hold a special Navy theme night. New boat
manager Alvin Chang, who was the special DJ for the Queer Comrades party at Tun a few weeks back, will be the captain of the tunes on this special night. So come dressed as a sailor and shake your aft section to fabulous gay 80’s tunes! If you come in costume, you will receive one free drink to get the night started.
