On July 1st, the Communist Party of China celebrates turning the ripe old age of 89 years old. To celebrate this geriatric achievement, Lantung will be holding a birthday party on the evening of July 1st to wish the party another 89 years of rule under guiding principles of modern socialist theory (actually we’re just using this as an excuse to get drunk). With summer officially in season, we expect to party the night away on the rooftop under the round moon so reminiscent of the former Chairman’s cherubic face. We’re sending the invite out to the upper echelons of the Party as well, so don’t be surprised to see a few famous faces from the CCP in attendance kicking back a few mojitos (not really). To get the night off to a great start, come wearing red or pink and get a free drink on us. So don’t be a Trotskyist or a capitalist roader and join us for what should be an epic communist party.
