The old White Rabbit was a perennial favorite for subterranean late night dancing and prancing, but it’s abrupt closer last summer left many desperately seeking a new place to boogie. As many of you are already aware, White Rabbit has been resurrected and has landed in the much more central location in Sanlitun’s Tongli Studio. While lacking the basement dungeon vibe of the old White Rabbit, owner Thomas Gaestadius has kept the bare concrete style, minus the luxury trappings that can be found in other clubs around the city. This allows the focus to be on music and dancing, which is what White Rabbit does best. In honor of the former Queer Night that White Rabbit once held on Thursdays, Gaestadius has just informed Gayographic that it has begun another queer night, this time on Tuesdays to avoid the highly competitive gay nights on Thursdays. Dubbed “The East is Pink”, this party will help the queerest among us loosen up before hump day. Needless to say hump day begins at midnight, so please feel free to start humping as soon as you boogie off the dance floor. Two-for-one drinks from 9pm to 11pm.
